4 Thyme-Savings Workout Videos

April 18, 2018

Doing thyme-saving things to be healthy and feel good isn’t just about food, of course….it’s about exercise too. This is a place where I struggle to find thyme and I’m sure a lot of you are in the same boat.

Since going back to work full-time with a baby, I’ve had to shift my mindset and remember that getting a good workout doesn’t necessarily mean putting on cute gear and driving to the gym. There are tons of quick, effective workout videos on Youtube that range from 5-20 minutes for those days when the gym is just not in the cards. I thought I would share the 4 that I've been loving lately. What I like best about these videos:

1. They're quick

2. They're free

3. They're effective

4. I can wear my nasty target yoga pants with holes in them because I’m alone in the comfort of my own living room.

Hopefully these workouts can help simplify your busy life too!

Type of workout: Abs

Total Thyme: 5 minutes

Equipment needed: none

PopSugar fitness is an awesome channel where I find a lot of workouts. Anna Renderer hosts tons of videos on her own or with guest trainers (this one is taught by Katie Dunlop of Love Sweat Fitness). I like this one because you can stand, don’t need any equipment, and it gets your cardio up. My stomach has always been my trouble spot, and I swear when I do this regularly it makes a difference.

Type of workout: Arms

Total Thyme: 8 minutes

Equipment needed: 8 lb dumbbell set

I did this one a couple of days ago and my arms are still sore! If you did the Abs workout you’ll recognize Anna Renderer in this one. I can’t say enough good things about her workouts. She's also got great tools and fitness programs on her website www.annarenderer.com. I'm going to try her programs soon and will report back!

Type of workout: Total Body Kettlebell

Total Thyme: 10 minutes

Equipment Needed: Kettlebell

I love the BodyFit by Amy YouTube channel because she has tons of workouts, and she too has an awesome bod so you can tell she knows what she’s talking about! This 10-Minute KettleBell Workout rocks because it's over before you know it and you feel tighter and more toned when you’re done.

Amy’s also a mom with great pregnancy workouts on there that I did a lot when I was expecting. Check her out!

Type of workout: Hot Body Hit HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) for total body

Total Thyme: 20 minutes

Equipment Needed: None

This workout is great. I started out thinking "Ok cool, this is pretty easy" and finished thinking "Holy Sh*&, this is tough!" Katie has a ton of awesome HIIT workouts on her Love Sweat Fitness channel. This one is great because it doesn’t require equipment, it only takes 20 minutes, and these workouts are designed to keep your body burning calories long after you're finished.
