2-Ingredient Pumpkin Brownies

This might be my favorite new kitchen hack. It’s a true thyme-saver, and it makes brownies a little less fattening and a lot more gooey!


Pumpkin makes an awesome kitchen shortcut, and is a great way to make some baked goods healthy by cutting out the oil and eggs.


I decided to try making brownies with just the box mix and a can of pumpkin puree, and I was so pleasantly surprised. It made the most ooey gooey, fudge-y brownies.


These take about 2 minutes to throw together. I used a brownie mix that had chocolate chips in it. You don’t need that, but you might want to add in chocolate chips. Walnuts would be another great add-in if you like them!

Total Thyme: 30 minutes (about 2 hands on)


Servings: 12 brownie squares



Pumpkin Puree: 1 can


Brownie Mix: 1 box


Optional Add-ins: Chocolate chips, walnuts



Mix 1 can of pumpkin puree with 1 box of brownie mix. Stir well.


Pour into a bread loaf pan. 

Bake for 25-30 minutes.


Let cool for 5-10 minutes before eating.
